Takes Registered or Unbuffered-ECC modules. The two types cannot be mixed. 48GB (12x 4GB) achieved using registered modules only. 24GB (12x 2GB) achieved using unbuffered modules only. In both cases modules will run at 1066MHz when fully populated.
